    Laney Day

    Laney Day

The Inter-Club Council organized the first-ever Laney Day–an event for students to celebrate their school. Volunteers from clubs on campus helped run the event, passing out custom Laney Day t-shirts, cooking food, or tabling for their club.

“It was successful because it did exactly what we wanted it to do,” ICC Vice President Rowena Brown said. When she looked around, she saw smiles, dancing and student camaraderie filling the quad.

    About the Contributor
In the fall of 2019, The Laney Tower rebranded as The Citizen and launched a new website. These stories were ported over from the old Laney Tower website, but byline metadata was lost in the port. However, many of these stories credit the authors in the text of the story. Some articles may also suffer from formatting issues. Future archival efforts may fix these issues.
