The Peralta Community College District will continue online instruction for the spring 2021 semester, Executive Director of Public Information, Communication and Media Mark Johnson confirmed today during a phone call with The Citizen. The semester will follow an online format similar to what the district is doing now.

Lab courses in fields deemed essential will continue to be held in person and will follow health and safety protocols. Johnson said that the district is engaging in ongoing conversations regarding how to provide training and support to students and faculty as virtual learning continues.

Current services available to all students include Chromebook lending programs for those who do not have access to a computer and regular free meal distributions.
