    This cover art reflects the history of 1968 Olympic winners Tommie “Jet” Smith and John Carlos protesting racial inequality in the U.S. Toni Cervantes was an Olympic swimmer who witnessed the events that took place at the Mexico City Games. These stories were ported over from the old Laney Tower website, but byline metadata was lost in the port. However, many of these stories credit the authors in the text of the story.
